visual flow layout sources ?

Is there any source code out there in C or C++ for Windows for flow
diagramming ? I know there must be a ton of stuff, but I've checked
in visualization groups and elsewhere and so far no luck.


I don't need traditional "graph drawing" algorithms (eg. for aesthetic
placement).. I'm looking for nuts and bolts software to just be able
to place and route simple objects, select and edit nodes and lines
etc.


I'm working on (yet another ?) graphical language tool
