The University of Waterloo's Computer Science (Math) is almost
exclusively based on compilers. In first year you learn data
structures and algorithms, in second finite state machines, regular
and context free grammars and assembly generation for a small
language. Third is much more theoretical with some projects. Fourth is
more practical using that theory, with a couple compiler design
courses. The degree is a BMath.
