I am not aware of any university in the US or UK that offers a degree
or graduate program in compilers specifically.
Anyway, compiler-design should be treated as just one course or
sequence of courses within a computer-science degree program.
Otherwise, one tends to miss the big picture of the field of computer
science if one becomes too specialized early on be it in compilers or
AI.
