Students and ACM Conferences in La Jolla

To all students attending the ACM Conferences in La Jolla,


Since the hotel prices for the ACM Conferences (PLDI, PEPM, FPCA) are fairly
high for us students, it looks like room sharing is a way to reduce that
cost factor. In order to make that possible, I think we should set up
a list of students wanting to share a room and looking for other students
to share it with. This system worked very well for last year's conferences
in Orlando. So let's try it again.


I volunteer to cordinate things = maintain the list and make it available
through WWW via my home page.


So if you're interested in sharing a room with other students, send me
mail with some information such as


1) My name is ... (student at ...)
2) I want to share a room from ... to ...
3) In case of constraints :-)
      a) I'm a girl and don't want to share a room with boys
      b) I'm a non-smoker and don't want to share it with smokers
      c) I'm ....




I'll set up a WWW page for it soon (= tomorrow)
