Unfortunately, I didn't get in on the start of this thread but I too would
be very interested in obtaining more info about linkers. I think it is is
also part and parcel to compiler construction and it's one area which is
preventing me from attempting to write my own compiler. If anyone can
supply some concrete, ie. not wishy-washy, info, I'd be most grateful. One
other request, is there a public domain floating point arithmatic library
to be had anywhere, if so, where?? Thanks.
