Thank you very much. Searching on "variable allocation to dual memory
banks" gave something valueable. (More than "register allocation for
DSP", IMHO) However, I didn't find "GCC papers" on their Web-page :(
My question concerns my research work at the university. I need to
develop an allocator for DSP and compare it with other common
allocator's in some way. That's why I'm wondering how allocation works
in different DSP compilers like Visual DSP++, etc.
Could you give me some links on freely available DSP compilers you
mentioned?
