The following book discusses the 90/10 rule, or what the author calls the
80/20 principle. The author does not claim to have invented the term or to
be the first person to have noticed it. He gives that credit to (from
memory) a economist from the late 1800's, whose name I forget. [Pareto. -John]
The author points out how the 80/20 principle crops up in many aspects
of life.
