Hi,

Take a look at http://www.ee.princeton.edu/spam/ There you will find a
high quality C compiler designed to be easily ported to a variety of
embedded/DSP with little memory. It uses SUIF frontend.

The porting task is not trivial but can surely be done with some
effort by someone with code generation background.

Hope it helps.

Regards,
Rodrigo Augusto.
