Subject: Compiler Engineer for DSP Backend at Metrowerks, Texas


Metrowerks is looking for a senior software engineer to take the role
of compiler engineer for porting our CodeWarrior compiler technology
to a new DSP backend compiler.


You will have responsibility for doing coding and maintenance on the
backend compiler for this new DSP product.


A good working knowledge of ANSI-C is required for this position. At
least four years of experience with compiler programming is required.
Candidates must have delivered at least one complete compiler backend.
You must be able to work independantly. This position requires
relocation to our Austin office.


The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with the
CodeWarrior IDE, experience with DSP or Harvard architectures, and/or
experience with compiler register allocation methodology.
