Given the informal nature of semantic descriptions for commercial
programming languages I'd expect to find differences between their
compilers' implementation of some of the tricker aspects of the
semantics. I don't seem to be able to lay my hands on any reported
evvidence. Does anyone have any anecdotes they might like to share?

Thanks, Darren
