CC'99 - 8th International Conference on Compiler Construction


                                        Amsterdam, 22-26 March 1999


                                      SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE


CC'99 is a forum for presentation and discussion of recent developments
in language processors and language design, with an emphasis on practical
methods and tools. Topics include, but are not restricted to:


          Compilation and interpretation techniques including parsing, type
                checking, static analysis, code generation, and code optimisation;
          Integrated programming environments;
          Processing of imperative, object-oriented, concurrent, real-time,
                functional, and logic, programming languages;
          Compilation for non-standard architectures, including parallelization
                issues;
          Compilation for distributed heterogeneous networks (``Web computing'');
          Processing of query languages, command languages, and application
                languages;
          Language-oriented editing and high-level debugging.


                                                IMPORTANT DATES


          28 September 1998: Deadline for Submissions
          30 November 1998: Notification
          4 January 1999: Camera-ready papers due
          22-26 March 1999: ETAPS'99 in Amsterdam
