Hi,


Writing a DSP compiler is a very difficult undertaking.
You could have a look at the following sites (all commercial)


edg (http://www.edg.com). This is only a C++ frontend and is good


archelon (http://www.archelon.com)


ace (http:/www.ace.nl). They seem to have developed something for the
      Philips REAL processor.


target compiler technologies (http://www.retarget.com)


Frontier Design (http://www.frontierd.com) under DSPStation.
  We will generate a complete DSP processor with the
corresponding application program.
