In "Description of Algol 60", Heinz Rutishauser, Springer-Verlag,
1967, section 52 of Appendix A is "The Jensen Device". Footnote 1,
page 248 says only "Proposed in 1960 by J. Jensen of the
Regnecentralen, Copenhagen".

An early paper is "An implementation of Algol 60 procedures",
Nord. Tidskr. Inform.-Behand. 1,1, pp.38-47. Jensen, J and Naur,
P. 1961. However, I do not know if this paper includes a description
of the "Jensen device".
