I am looking for informations concerning profiling of object-oriented
languages (in particular, Java), namely:
  - references to papers,
  - existing implementations,
  - use of profiling information for optimization.
So far, I only found information regarding languages like C.

I will post a summary of references and pointers I receive.
Thanks.

than maybe prettying up the report? -John]
