                                Tuesday, November 18th, 7:00 PM
Room: A4 San Jose Convention Center

The National Compiler Infrastructure project is nearing completion its
first year of development. The purpose of this Bird's of a Feather
Session is to update the research community on the status of the
development of the National Compiler Infrastructure project, and to
solicit comments and input from the compiler community. Dr. Jack
Davidson (University of Virginia) and Dr. Monica Lam (Stanford
University) will describe the current status of the project, plans
for the next two years, and take questions from the audience.

There have been many exciting new developments since the last Bird's
of a Feather session at Supercomputing '96 in Pittsburg. There are
new industrial participants and exciting new software components.

For this infrastructure to work, input is needed from you!!!
