  There is a lot of work going on in the above field in India.I am working on
a project named DARPAN which involves the static analysis of programs using
Data Flow analysis.The work is being done in a R&D organization called Trddc
at Pune ,India.
  This project involves developing a metatool which based on a Data Flow
Framework specification generates a tool which can perform the specified
analysis on a particular Language.Only Imperative languages are being
targeted as of now.
  More information if needed can be given based on specific questions.
