POSITION: Senior Compiler Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:


This position is for a Senior Compiler Engineer who will lead the design
and development of Wind River's next generation of cross-development C
and C++ compilers, backends and toolchains. These GNU toolchains are
configured and built for use a variety of VxWorks target architectures
hosted on UNIX and Win32 platforms. The candidate will join the Tools
Group within Wind River Development Engineering.


QUALIFICATIONS:


      *) 5-10 years compiler design or maintenance experience
      *) BSEE/BSCS
      *) UNIX Experience
      *) Good Communication Skills


In addition experience with real-time operating systems, GNU GCC and G++
(particularly code-generation issues), and Clearcase are highly desirable.
