We are happy to announce the Second SUIF Compiler Workshop, to be held
on August 21-23, 1997, at Stanford University. The dates were chosen
so that the workshop attendees can stay to attend the Hot Chips
Conference, which will be held on August 24-26, also at Stanford
University.
The SUIF compiler workshop is a forum for users of the SUIF compiler
system to discuss their on-going work, and share their software,
results and future plans. This workshop should also be of interest to
those interested in using SUIF in their future projects. The first
SUIF workshop was held at Stanford University, January 1996, the
proceedings of which are available on the WWW at
http://www-suif.stanford.edu/suifconf1.
The format of the workshop will be as follows:
-- Afternoon of August 21 (Thursday)
-- a tutorial on the next version of SUIF
-- August 22 (Friday) and morning of August 23 (Saturday)
-- presentations and demonstrations on new software developed using SUIF
-- birds-of-a-feather sessions to discuss work in progress
-- informal discussions on future directions of the SUIF system
Users of the SUIF system are invited to submit papers describing their
software, research results and work in progress. The paper can be an
abstract of a few pages, or a full-length paper that has appeared or
will appear in other publications. We request that you send your
paper to us by July 14, 1997. Your paper will be reviewed for
relevance and you will be notified of acceptance by July 31, 1997.
Papers should be submitted in PostScript and e-mailed to the Program
Chair at jennifer@pa.dec.com.
Papers will be collected into a workshop proceedings and distributed
at the workshop.
