Dear colleagues,


We have developed and implemented the mpC language and its programming
environment to facilitate and support efficiently portable modular
parallel programming (especially, for heterogeneous networks of
computers). Efficient portability means that an application running
efficiently on a particular multiprocessor will run efficiently after
porting to other multiprocessors.


mpC is an ANSI C superset, Its programming environment includes a
compiler, a run-time support system, a command-line user interface.
