The Portland Group, Inc. (PGI) has released the first production versions
of its HPF and auto-parallelizing F77, C, and C++ compilers for Pentium
and Pentium Pro Workstations running Linux86 and Solaris86. Support for
native F90/HPF and Windows NT will be added in a release later this year.
These are essentially the same compilers being used on the ASCI Red
TFLOPs machine at Sandia. For more information, point your browser
to http://www.pgroup.com or mail PGI at sales@pgroup.com.
