There is one recent one in print that I know of:

(from the amazon.com catalog)

Assemblers and Loaders
(Ellis Horwood Series in Computers and Their Applications)
  by David Saloman
  Paperback
  Published by Prentice Hall
  Publication date: February 1993
  ISBN: 0130525642

Haven't read it myself.

Clark Coleman (clc5q@virginia.edu)
[I've looked through it. As I recall, it's OK but there was some
rather peculiar stuff that looked like it was due to the author's
mostly having used one non-mainstream assembler. By the way, re
loaders, I'm finally working on the linkers and loaders book, pleas
for help coming soon. -John]
