Hi,
I'm a computer science student who is interested in working on writing
a compiler for a new language. I've taken a course in principles of
compilation using the dragon book.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a more up to date book I could
read? I remember seeing a reference to a book about writing compilers
in java. Could someone point me in the direction of this?
Btw, I'm interested in functional and logic languages as well as
imperative ones.
Basically I think I'm asking for a good reference book on building
compilers for 'modern' languages!
thanks in advance,
niall
