I am looking for a compiler to do some optimisation research. I have
read the free compilers list. I wanted to know what compiler is easy /
easier to hook into.

I have already tried using lcc but lcc doesnt seem to want to work on
Irix 6.4.

Please let me know of any experiences / tips on what compiler is
easy to hook into.

Thanks
Manu.
