I missed the original, but Greg Comeau has a new product that
does the compilation to C. And, as might be expected, it uses the
excellent EDG front end.
It comes with library support for new and other fundamentals,
and works with iostreams from a cfront package.
Coming out on a zillion platforms rsn.
