AIMS OF THE CONFERENCE
----------------------
To advance the science and technology in distributed programming and its
applications by:
-providing outstanding presentations of collaborated R&D from academia
to industry
-providing practitioners opportunities to review and evaluate new methods
and tools, and providing researchers exposure to practical problems
-providing a forum for the discussion of new research results and their
social impacts
The two-day technical program will encompass 10 sessions covering 30 papers
on the areas listed above, as well as 2 keynote addresses by distinguished
speakers.
SUBMISSIONS
-----------
To submit papers, please send four copies of extended abstracts, from 1,000
to 2,000 words in length, to the WWCA97 Secretariat by November 15, 1996.
Papers should be written in English and include title, authors,
affiliations, E-mail addresses and telephone and fax numbers. The
submission letter should indicate which session the paper is being
submitted to and the return mailing address. One or two papers are being
called for in each session, which equals about half of the presentations.
Reviewers nominated by the chairs of each session will be responsible for
selecting distinguished papers for presentation. Authors will be notified
of acceptance by December 24, 1996. Camera-ready full paper manuscripts,
5,000 words in length, will be due by February 10, 1997. Accepted papers
should be presented at the conference. Papers will be reviewed a second
time before being published in the final proceedings.
