The original paper is "Global Optimization by Suppression of Partial
Redundancies", by E. Morel and C. Renvoise, Comm. of the ACM, Feb. 1979,
Vol. 22, Number 2, pp. 96-103.
Some followup articles I've found:
"A solution to a problem with Morel and Renvoise's 'Global Optimization
by Suppression of Partial Redundancies', ACM Trans. Program. Lang. Syst.
10, 4(1988), 635-640.
"Some Comments on 'A solution to a problem with Morel and Renvoise's
`Global Optimization by Suppression of Partial Redundancies`'", Arther
Sorkin, ACM Trans. Program. Lang. Syst. 11, 4(1989), 666-668.
"Effective Partial Redundancy Elimination", Preston Briggs and Keith
Cooper, SIGPLAN 94-6/94, 159-170.
