Visiting Positions in Computer Science
Rutgers University - Camden


Rutgers University, Camden invites applications for one or two
visiting faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science.
These positions are one-year, renewable and to begin Fall 1996.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related area is required.
We are especially seeking candidates with research and teaching
interests in software engineering, compilers, operating systems,
networks, and computer graphics.


Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vita,
a statement of research and teaching interests, and three letters
of reference to Chair, Department of Computer Science, c/o Betty
Zubert, Department of Computer Science, Rm. 322, Business and Science

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY -- LANGUAGE IMPLEMENTATION
Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia


The Faculty of Information Technology at QUT is offering a 2-year
post-doctoral position which wil be attached to the DSTC research centre.
The position will involve working with the DSTC

and with the Programming Languages and Systems group at QUT
http://www.fit.qut.edu.au/CompSci/PLAS/
on the Java tools project, which is based at QUT, in Brisbane, Australia.


Applicants should have completed or be about to submit a PhD in language
implementation or a closely related area. Salary is in the AU$38k--41k p.a.
range.
