I have set up a web page which searches the comp.compilers archive, using
the freeware glimpse search engine. You can search just the subject
lines (faster) or the full text of the articles, all the way back to 1986.


The compilers archive is at http://iecc.com/compilers. To use the
searcher, your brower has to grok forms, and the page will look nicer if
it handles tables as well.


You get what glimpse gives you for searching, which in this case is full
words, independent of case.
