There's just been a thread about Algol 68 in the comp.lang.misc
group. Someone who worked on various ports of Algol 68RS said there's
a free but UK Gov copyrighted Algol 68 to C translator at DRA -
ftp://ftp.dra.hmg.gb/pub/ella. Sources and Sun binary. I've still to
work out all the files I need to pull from that directory. It's built
using itself (but C files are on the site as well), without using
make. It's hard to work out the dependencies, but pull down anything
starting with a68*, ctrans or os* for starters.
