ARC RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN EXPERIMENTAL COMPUTING RESEARCH


We are looking for a research fellow to join us on exciting, leading
edge projects in experimental computing research. Applicants should be
familiar with internals of compilers, debuggers, run-time subsystems
of imperative and object-oriented programming languages, and to have
experience in experimental computing research. Applicants are expected
to hold a doctoral degree or be very close to completing one. Come to
sunny Queensland!


The position is for one year with possibility of renewal. Salary
range: AUS$32914 to $50111, depending on qualifications.

The FTE opportunities currently available are listed below:


Attn: Lead SW Engineer-Ada Compilers--->


Develop, maintain, and enhance comlpex Ada development software,
including: Ada Compilers, Ada run-time systems, Ada debuggers, and
software development tools.


Qualifications include: BS or MSCS, and Minimum 2 years experience in
actual compiler development or maintenance. Requires in-depth
knowledge & experience in development, debug, and bug-fixing of
compiler systems. Requires working knowledge of the Ada language.
Experience with real time systems is beneficial. The following are
also Plus: Compiler Internals, RISC Architecture. PARSER Development,
& BNF.


  Attn: C-Fortran Compiler/Lead SW Engineer--->


Responsible for the design & implementation of compiler technology
utilizing a common code generator (CCG) for C, Fortran, Ada, and other
languages, targeting to multiple computer architectures. A strong
background & education in compiler techniques is required, together
with experience of the UNIX OS &


Qualifications include BSCS, 5-8 years related experience. Must be
motivated, self-starter, and cabable of working in a highly productive
team environment.
