In 1986 Addison Wesley published my book "Programming Language Translation
- a practical approach" (ISBN 0-201-18040-5). This is a Pascal-based book,
focussing on LL(1) techniques, with a variety of graded cases studies.

Negotiations are presently being undertaken for a second edition, which will
likely not be Pascal based, incidentally, and will also cover the use of
compiler writing tools as well as hand crafted compilers.

The potential publisher is intersted to hear of any adoptions of the first
edition that were made at universities and colleges, particularly in the US
(but not only there).

I would be grateful to hear from any individual or institution who taught
or learned from the book, and any comments on their experience with it.

Thanks in advance.
