When I last posted, asking if anyone had opinions about a
tool called "Visual Parse++", I didn't get any new info.
But I did get several requests for more complete contact
information. This is from "Dr. Dobb's" Oct '95 p107:
SandStone Technology
950 Shore Crest Road
Carlsbad, CA 92009
tel: 619-929-9778
800-988-9023
fax: 619-929-9849
Visual Parse++ / intro price $299
Once again: I haven't used their product, but it sounds
interesting. If you use it, I'd love to hear what you think.
>From what I can tell Visual Parse++ is an ms windows-based
parser generator. From the ad, it's not clear to me exactly
what the product generates, but it claims "support" for
Borland & MS C++, Visual Basic, and Delphi.
The ad also claims you can "see" regex matches,
the stack, grammar rule matches, etc.
"visible" programs are a particular interest of mine.
They can be a great tool for learning (and debugging).
