John, our moderator, is being properly self effacing and demure, but I
think mention should be made of the best book out there on LEX and YACC;
i.e. the book titled simply ``LEX and YACC', by John R. Levine, Tony
Mason, and Doug Brown, published by O'Reilly & Associates, ISBN
1-56592-000-7.

[Aw, shucks. Before anyone asks, the book is available only in the
traditional macerated dead tree format. The examples are on-line, but not
the text. -John]
