i asked for a reference on an algol 60 implementation. thank you for
the responses. one suggestion was a book by Brian Randell and L. J. Russel
on Algol 60 Implementation [1] which i have, and another suggestion was
a book by Kruseman Aretz on the MC-Compiler[2]. This may be what i had
asked for: i recall that the compiler code was in its own
language.
