Hello!

I've read a note in DDJ about a new thing called TIS 1.0 (= Tools Interface
Standard, version 1.0?) that is set up by Borland, Microsoft, IBM, Intel,
SCO, Watcom, Lotus and MetaWare and provides information about object
module formats, formats for symbolic information, formats for executables
(OMF, ELF, DWARF were mentioned) and so on.

Does anybody know more about this standard? Has it been released? Is
there a compiler that is using (parts of) this standard?

Regards, Olaf
