The Stanford SUIF Compiler Team is pleased to announce a bug fix release
of the SUIF compiler system. The new release, SUIF 1.0.1, is available by
anonymous FTP from suif.Stanford.EDU in the form of a complete tarred
distribution (/pub/suif/suif-1.0.1.tar.{Z,gz}) or a patch to SUIF 1.0
(/pub/suif/suif-1.0-to-1.0.1.patch).
This is a bug fix release only. There are no new features included, so it
is completely compatible with SUIF 1.0.
With the fixes in the new release, the basic SUIF system successfully
compiles and validates all of the benchmarks in the Perfect Club suite,
SPECint 92 suite, SPECfp 92 suite, and Livermore Kernels. Further, the
parallelizer succeeds on all the Fortran programs in these benchmarks and
the resulting parallel code validates. Only the scalar optimizer (oynk)
still has problems with some of these benchmarks.
More information about the SUIF compiler is available from the same FTP
site or via the URL http://suif.Stanford.EDU.
