Listserv Downtime Scheduled

For your information...


The IBM ES/3090 mainframe at The American University (AUVM) will be down
Saturday morning, May 14, from 8 AM until Sunday morning, May 15, at 8 AM
for a CPU upgrade. It is also scheduled to be down the following weekend,
May 21-22, for the same 24-hour period while we consolidate our workload
on one machine. We expect to come up earlier both weekends, but are
reserving this time in case we run into problems.


Note that this affects both a large number of Usetnet/Mailing List
gateways as well as all mail coming to the american.edu domain (including
posts coming to mailing lists based here). No messages should be lost, but
mail and gateway'ed posts may be delayed for up to one day.
