Some new software that provides a graphical depiction of the workings
of a compiler is now available for ftp access. The software is called
"This is How a Computer Works" and can be found at ftp.cs.duke.edu in
the /pub/compworks directory. _PLEASE_ read the README file before
taking the software.
The source code used as example high-level code is a limited version
of Pascal. Both Mac and DOS versions are available, and updates will
be made on a regular basis to the files at the present ftp site. We
would welcome any feedback on the operation of the software to
saw1@cs.duke.edu.

Thank you for your interest and GO DEVILS!!

P.S. Information on the project itself along with help files will soon
be available via ftp as well.
