Has anyone looked into applications of classical data flow analyses for
higher order functional languages ? What we mean by classical data flow
analysis is the American way opposed to the European (Abstract
interpretation). We are explicitly interested in dependency analysis and
complexity results. Our aim is not to go to CPS as Shivers did in his PhD
thesis.
