Hello,

I am looking into both the phase-ordering and the possibilities for
combining register assignment and instruction scheduling for ILP compilers.
Currently, I am concentrating on different register assignment schemes.
I feel confident with most graph-coloring methods, however I am curious about
other methods currently being used. I have read the following :
                Pinter's SigPlan '93,
                Bradlee's Dissertation,
                Freudenberger/Ruttenberg's Phase-Ordering paper and
the dragon book approach (section 9.7)

I am interested in the details of any other methods of register assignment
that are currently in use.

                                                                                Thank you,

                                                                                Thomas Brasier
