The International Workshop on Compiler Construction is held every two
years. It continues the series of Compiler Compiler workshops organized in
the former GDR since 1986. This workshop will provide a forum for
presentation and discussion of recent developments in the area of compiler
construction. Its scope ranges from compilation methods and tools to
implementation techniques for specific requirements of languages and
target architectures.


The topics include, but are not restricted to:


                - Tools and generators for any phase of compilation
                - Methods and techniques for code generation and optimization
                - Compilation for parallel architectures
                - Compiler environments
                - Translation of application languages


The workshop program will include invited presentations, full length
presentations of contributions, and short presentations. Discussion
sessions on some of the above topics will be scheduled. The presentation
language is English.


Authors are invited to submit original contributions of 8 to 15 pages for
a full presentation and 2 to 5 pages for a short presentation.
Contributions must be submitted before March 1, 1992 to the organizer.


It is planned to publish the proceedings of CC '92 in Lecture Notes of
Computer Science, Springer-Verlag. The proceedings of CC '90 appeared in
LNCS Vol. 477.


The workshop will be hosted by the Universitaet-GH Paderborn. The German
Gesellschaft fuer Informatik (GI) is the main sponsor of CC '92. IFIP
Working Group 2.4 (System Implementation Languages) and GI Fachgruppe
2.1.3 (Implementierung von Programmiersprachen) also support CC '92. It is
planned to organize a meeting of GI FG 2.1.3 during the workshop.

Notification of acceptance: April 15, 1992
Camera-ready paper: June 1, 1992
Deadline for registration: Aug 15, 1992
Workshop: Oct 5-7, 1992
