I'm interested in any informations on the optimizations of the Sun SPARC
assembler. My documentation, SPARC Architecture Manual and the Assemlby
Language Reference doesn't say much.


I hope to use the assembler to do delayed instruction filling, and
possible some branch optimizations, but it's crucial that some
specific registers doesn't get rearranged, as the window cache
is flushed, and the stack is examined frequently.


Please mail any information, I'll summarise if there's suficient interrest
and results.
