hi netters,
Many many thanks for your suggessions and references. I will
soon compile all the info. I received and post it onto the net. But in the
meantime, I would like to have some guidance, from knowledgable persons in
this field.

I would like to know :

1) What are the fields in which much work are yet to be done?
Please give me a technical description. { I am in touch with all
the current developments }. It would benefit me greatly if you can
give a list of challenging questions. That would help me in choosing
      a right field.

2) I understand that the loop transformation techniques have almost come to
a decline, and large amount of work have been done in vectorization.
But parallelization is still a challenge. Am I correct? What are the
good and original papers in parallelism detection?

3) Can anybody suggest me some good articles in the field of partitioning
      and mapping?

Please send your replies to "shrid@utdallas.edu" ( my reply address ).

Thanks a lot
