I gave a graduate seminar on Pcode a few years ago. I managed to
dig out the files with the notes I used - but alas - they are in
Swedish and in the format of a document preparation system long
deceased. I was, however, able to extract the following references:
(1) A Comparison of PASCAL Intermediate Languages.
Philip A. Nelson, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory
University of California, Davis
(2) Machine-Independent PASCAL Code Optimization.
Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences Dept.
University of California, San Diego.
(3) A PASCAL Compiler for the ICL 1900 Series Computer.
J. Welsh and C. Quinn, Software - Practice and
Experience, 2, No 1, 73-77 (1972).
(4) OPTIMA - A Portable PCODE Optimizer.
A. Wilk and W. Silverman, Software - Practice and
Experience, 13, No 4, 323-354 (1983).
(5) A Microprogrammed P-CODE Interpreter for the Data
General Eclipse S/130 Minicomputer.
J.A. Hall, Software - Practice and Experience, 12,
No 8, 755-765 (1982).
(6) Pascal-P Implementation Notes.
K.V. Nori, U. Ammann, K. Jensen, H.H. Nageli, Ch. Jacobi,
PASCAL - The Language and its Implementation,
D.W. Barron (ed), John Wiley & Sons (1981).
(7) Pascal-S: A Subset and its Implementation.
N. Wirth, PASCAL - The Language and its Implementation,
D.W. Barron (ed), John Wiley & Sons (1981).
