There are many good books on compiler construction,
(the dragon book, etc) but is there a really good
interpreter reference? Any advice would be appreciated!
[The current issue of Computer Reviews has a favorable review of a new
book on interpreter design: E. H. Debaere and J. M. Campenhout,
"Interpretation and instruction path coprocessing," MIT Press, 1990, 192 pp.,
$30, ISBN 0-262-04107-3. I haven't yet seen it myself. -John]
