I've had good luck with a shareware cross-assembler called TASM. I don't
recall who wrote it, but it's available on the SIMTEL archive (last time
I checked). I also have a copy of the Franklin C compiler and macro-assembler.
It's *not* free/cheap (~$1000)... but it's completely ANSI compatible,
writes very tight code and has excellent support and documentation. I highly
recommend it !
