Hear, hear. I think that the `pi/pc' (UC Berkeley Pascal Interpreter
and Compiler) combination is still pretty much state of the art. See
``Practical LR Error Recovery'', S. Graham, C. Haley, W. Joy. I don't
know where it appeared originally, but it has the inscription ``(c)1979
ACM 0-89791-002-8/79/0800-0168'' at the bottom of the first page.
