Hi,


        Before SSA was discovered, high-level control & data flow
        analysis as in Rosen's papers was the cutting-edge.


        Unfortunately, the latter wasn't pursued extensively as
        most literatures leave the formation of application theory
        to the innocent students of the several papers and books
        on high level data, control flow analysis.


        Contrastingly, SSA has found exhaustive coverage in that
        readers have direct access to specific optimization solutions
        using SSA.


        Or so, I reckon. Therefore, my question is have others
        pursued Rosen's papers right down to the wire and if so,
        are related materials available ?
