Some year ago I was wondering about JVM as a target for a C compiler.
It is a little tricky, as there are some things that people expect
even though the C standard doesn't require them.
I once knew about a COBOL compiler for JVM, though I don't know
any more than that.
What language(s) were you thinking about?
