Perhaps our esteemed moderator can write "Compilers for Dummies".
Seriously! Even people with computer science background are finding
compilers difficult. CS has been dropping theoretical components in
favor of some buzzword-filled modern replacements. I'm sure many cs
students, who can cook up cool javascript animations in no time, find
compiler books impossible to digest.

[Unless you can identify at least 10,000 people who are likely to buy
the book, the publisher can't afford to be interested. And I have to
say that if you have CS degree and are unable to figure out what a
LALR parser does, there's something wrong with your CS degree. -John]
